Possession

Merlin was very pleased with himself this afternoon as he found a toy on his walk which had obviously lost by another dog. It was a bone shaped toy with bumpy bits to chew and squeak. He was delighted and pranced around the field with it for over half an hour and was only persuaded to come back to us when tempted with a piece of sausage.

Grateful:
- For a few beautiful sunny hours early this morning while I ate breakfast and pottered in the garden.
- For feta and spinach tart made using spinach harvested from over-wintered plants. The spinach plants will soon go to seed and need removing.
- To Merlin for making us laugh at his ‘bone’ antics.
