Bee time

I took a trip out to Greys Court with the promise of an Art trail to look round, plus of course the house, gardens, estate walks and last of the bluebells.  The Arts trail wasn't as big as I expected, but there were some gorgeous and inspiring pieces, The rest was up to expectations (aside from the extremely slow service in the café) and I had a great day. I even managed to start another sketch, this time of an artichoke flower bud from the kitchen garden (extra).

The white garden was looking good, and I spotted the fully pollen laden bee enjoying a white version of the mountain cornflower I currently have in my own garden.
