Lyme Regis

We've had a fantastic day in Lyme Regis today. It's such a nice place, I can't believe I haven't been here before.  We started the day rockpooling and fossils hunting at the beach.  The girls played in a sandy spot and I layed down and realised it is so long since I layed in the sun.  Then we went to a lovely bakery for lunch and coffee.  The girls collected rocks and spent some of their money buying crystals at a fossil shop. They love semi precious stones and crystals.  We took a slow walk back to the car. Back to the cottage for about 4pm for showers and a rest before a 15 minute walk to a lovely pub in the village.  We ate outside in a pod and the food was lovely. A brilliant day!
