Hot Shoe Shuffle

It was a bit stuck for an image today until I took a wonder up our garden and saw the ash based contents of the fire brazier at the top of our garden where we have been burning the last of the off cuts from our large scale beech hedge pruning.
My blip infused brain then made a connection from a pair of my sister's silver shoes that I had seen in the house to the phrase 'hot shoe shuffle' that suddenly pinged around my synapses (so why not combine the combusted beech hedge clippings and the shoes!), which I think I may have confused with soft-shoe shuffle - a form of tap dancing wearing shoes that have soft soles.
I later discovered that Hot Shoe Shuffle is actually a 1992 Australian jukebox musical (an excerpt of which, in all its frenetic over the top glory, I have included below) whose score mostly includes American big band and popular songs of the 1920's to the 1940's. While set in the US, the show has been credited with a decidedly Australian sense of humour.
The musical concerns seven tap brothers - Spring, Slap, Buck, Wing, Tip, Tap and Slide - who learn of the death of their long-absent father. Their father has left them a large inheritance, however to receive it they must rehearse and perform the legendary 'act' - the hot shoe shuffle, along with their long lost sister, April - surely another sign of serendipity for today's blip! :-)
