Putting All Your Egg Boxes In One Basket

Another woeful day of weather so today there was little or almost no opportunities for an outdoor blip image (or that could just be a disinclination to get rained on and soaked through) so sometimes you just have to make do and mend which is very much the case of today's shot.
This little chap was found at the back of one of our kitchen cupboards following our recent declutter but his origins remain a mystery. With his bijou basket I intended to go down the rather obvious route and put all our eggs in it until I remembered we'd used them all for breakfast, so the empty egg box would just have to suffice! :-)
I now needed a colourful background to help banish thoughts of the abysmal weather outside which is when I came across this depiction of the bright yellow corn on the cobs on a shopping bag.
I think it also looks like a still from a poor man's video game - what Super Mario would look like if he decided to wear a straw hat, horned rimmed glasses, dungarees and a set of tartan espadrilles whilst leaping over some giant corn clutching a basket with a Waitrose (other brands are available) egg box in it! :-)
