Misty May Day

Welcome to summer in the pagan calendar. Not sure if the weather knows about this. It is very misty, but not quite foggy. It does clear for a while, and the sun nearly makes an appearance. But the mist then rolls back in.

There is an element of clarity on the lunchtime walk. While walking through White Lady Wood, partner and I watched two 'tribes' of magpies having a small disagreement. The sun made a second appearance.

It does stay sunny for most of the afternoon. But the mist rolls back in just in time for the afternoon walk as can be seen from the main blip photo. Extra shows a drake mallard duck that was looking for some afternoon tea in the Braid Burn.
