Gently down the stream

Tiny Wednesday

We had more sun than (I, at least) expected this morning,  I'd planned to garden rather than walk and just had to hope I'd find a blip from that.  With the sun out, this is what I came up with.  Really I should have done this yesterday, for TinyTuesday, but hey!

The flower is a kind of cranesbill/geranium.  If it counts as wild, I can't identify which one it is.  It's the sort of groundcover, loved of Council gardeners, that will fill up awkward spaces where nothing else wants to grow.  I have both this dark one and a light pink version in my garden.  I pinched two small bits from a dull weedy triangle up the road.  Well at least the bees love it.

Talking of which, I know very little about bees and bee types.  I'm guessing this is a straightforward honey bee but it doesn't seem to have much in the way of pouches on its legs, so if anyone can correct my possibly rash assumption I'd be really grateful.

Results for WFW24_04 will likely be in my journal tomorrow rather than today.  Yes, I know what I said last night, but I seem to have slightly run out of time..  If I catch up with myself they will be added here later.

Have a great evening  xx
