Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree...

with anyone else but me. 

Even with all the unpacking we have to take care of, I had a couple of jobs today that had to be handled.

My wonderful neighbor Barry was able to mow the front yards of mine and my neighbor's houses, but he can't get into either back yard. So, with my fingers crossed, I filled my mower with gas, and turned the key. YES! It started right up, and both back yards got cut.

Next, my son Jeff told me that my second van wouldn't start, dead in the garage. I jumped it with my other van, drove it out to Autozone, and inquired about my options. Come to find out, the battery was still under warranty, so the new 210 dollar battery was installed for free. FREE! My favorite 4 letter word.

I was all ready to cook supper for us when Lisa's sister Lori invited us out to eat steak at a local restaurant. We went. My chicken can wait until the morrow.
