Old Time Tennessee

It's always worth a drive into The Museum of Appalachia in Clinton, Tennessee. You can generally see several kinds of animals and hear the loud wails of the resident peacocks.

We usually just snap a couple of pictures and visit the gift shop, but one of these trips, we're going to see the buildings and displays. It is full of old log homes and barns.

We left Cleveland Tennessee at 7:45 this morning and pulled into our driveway at 7:10 p.m. 620 miles driven today. Add that to yesterday's 651 miles for a grand 2 day total of 1,271 miles.

The only other excitement of the day besides the museum was a trip into Buccees, a giant gas station/convenience store. They are springing up across America, and are almost beyond description.

I am posting this and hitting the sack. Tired, dog tired.
