Garden Party

I realised too late that my usual route home, passed Palace of Holyrood House, was nose to tail with traffic. The traffic was being diverted up the Royal Mile with traffic police and wardens all over the place. I managed to quickly snap this with the iPhone - some of the attendees of tea with the Queen or whoever was deputising for her. All in their finery, practically every male had a kilt on and of course ladies MUST wear a hat.

At least they had a dry afternoon and quite warm though not as hot as the rest of the country.

It took me an hour to get home. I must take more notice of traffic signs!
