Spring Blues

Longshaw today. Disappointingly, I didn’t see any Pied Flycatchers in the wood this week, but there were some compensations, the most exciting being  a couple of Roe Deer - by no means as common as Red Deer in these parts. The Willow Warblers had arrived and I managed a good view of one on our way back. the Spring woodland flowers were looking beautiful - especially the Bluebells.
