A Regular

A much better day today, so I decided on a local walk up to Warbler Corner to see what new arrivals were there. There were plenty of Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff, and I was delighted to spot a Garden Warbler, but as yet there were no Whitethroat. On the way up the lane, I spotted a  Wheatear on a distant wall, but on the way back down, it landed on a nearby wall right in front of me. They seem to stop off to feed on the same pasture each year, so I always look out for them. No sign of the male today.
