NOT easy!

Grumble Alert!
      Some years ago I had an argument with a post.  I was reversing and it was below line-of-sight, obscured by the bit of car below the clear view through the rear window.
      Fortunately no bits were lost, but were also unlikely to stay there for the rest of our combined life.
SO
      It was duly "fettled" using a clear tape, which is showing signs of passing its "use by"/best before date.
      What I had forgotten was - the fact that, unlike the majority of sticky Tapes this one was determined NOT to help.
