Green Man

This is held at Bovey Tracey. We were there early to watch the procession of Morris Dancers up the town, with the Green Man, his partner/ minder, and dog, following at the back.
There were 20 Morris sides dancing throughout the day in three different locations. The rain held off thankfully 
In the afternoon we drove up the road to a Dartmoor car park and walked to Emsworthy Mire to listen to the cuckoo, which called continuously for several minutes. Magical.
