Best in the country!

When I took Libby for a walk this morning I saw this new banner. Amazing to see that our local Sea Cadets are the best unit in the U.K. out of 450 units. Both my children went to this Sea Cadets after guides and scouts as it was more challenging. They could also walk there which was great. They also did lots of water sports …canoeing, rowing etc and went on various camps including on ships at Portsmouth and my son also did a trip on a tall ship from a Plymouth too. Also they took part in various parades, both locally and in London eg Lord Mayors Parade…in Trafalgar Square and outside St Paul’s.

Today has been more successful than yesterday…..I feel I have got a lot done, lots of jobs around the house….cleaning, washing, ironing and sorting out clothes and books etc to take to the charity shop on Monday. Also I’ve have looked at some things we had in the loft and washed some old dresses……one that is 20+ years old which I think will be OK to wear this summer..back in fashion! ( but I will check what my daughter thinks tomorrow!)
