Level Crossing

After a gym session and grocery shopping this morning, I drove home on the shortest route. It’s not the fastest route though, because it crosses a busy railway line, and the cars have to stop for frequent freight trains and less frequent passengers trains.

This is the “Rheingau Linie”, a slow train running from Frankfurt via Wiesbaden and Rüdesheim to Koblenz. It’s very popular with commuters, so whenever we use it we try to avoid peak times.

Gardening and chores in the afternoon. After the recent cold spell, this day felt almost hot with 18°C.
