Cumbria Way - Day 2 - Beacon Tarn

Another good day weatherwise.

For our second chunk of the Cumbria Way we walked from Tarn How’s to Beacon Tarn - walking in a southerly direction instead today. Lovely. Lots of Herdwick lambs looking very cute. Coffee in Herdwick’s cafe in Coniston and then we walked south along the side of Coniston Water, crossing the road at Sunny Bank and proceeding towards Beacon Tarn.
