Lunch...

...time...

The birds were taking advantage of me cutting the grass and digging over the flower beds this morning.  While I was working away, there were loads of tiny bees and drone flies dodging about the heather and erysimum.  Of course, once I sat down with my camera they were all gone!

It was difficult to tell but I think the small bees are mining bees (they wouldn't sit still for me to identify them) and I happened to find some of their nests at the Kings Park the other day so I will need to go back with my camera...
