Happy place

Today started with a few errands and then I called into see MIL at the care home.  All the residents were in the conservatory when I arrived and were practicing for a singing competition next week, based in the Eurovision song contest.  Not many singing so I added to their voices - not sure how I feel about the 'engagement activities' they arrange and I do find some of them a bit 'childish' but they do say old people become more childlike as they get older.  

Home for lunch and I was hungry as breakfast was an orange!  I spent the afternoon watching things on my ipad and doing more sewing.  Always my happy place (if I am not in the garden!).

OH having a nice time in Portugal and home tomorrow.
