Lundy day
Today we went on a trip to Lundy. It was an early start as we had to be at Biddeford for 6.45! A lovely smooth 2 hour boat trip across made even better with seeing dolphins quite close to the ship. The climb up Lundy was quite hard work but so worthwhile. We went for a coffee first, in the only pub then set off to explore. We walked along the east side of the island, then across the middle, to Jenny’s Cove , where to our delight we saw so many puffins, along with guillemots, fulmars and razor bills. The west coast side of the island has the most spectacular rock formations too - so hard to capture in a photo as it’s so amazing. We were blessed with beautiful weather as well.
Boat trip back was very smooth too, but by then we were a bit exhausted!
