Shuttlecock fern

We had an outing today. We visited Leighton Moss and heard the bitterns booming and after a sit in the sunshine we had rea and cakes.
We visited Gait Barrows and hoped to see a brimstone, but no, it’s been such a cold month.
Then on to see Lynne who needed her swift box checking. It’s all in good working order and we hope the swifts will visit it this year. Then Bonnie had a treat too, as she had a play with the 4 month puppy lab next door. They had a great romp!
