Having your cake, and eating it.

We were up earlier than usual as my hairdresser was due this morning. She worked her magic. as always, and as soon as she left and I had cleared up, we went to Waitrose, in Cowbridge to do the shopping. The coffee shop was quiet, so we went in for for a snack. J had sandwiches, and I had this delicious slice of carrot cake (another healthy option)  It was on offer at £1.50 a slice. much cheaper than The Bear, and although I have a sweet tooth, I felt slightly sick after eating it:-) Back home, put the shopping away, and J has gone up to have a chat with his biker friend, which is the first time for over a week, so he must be feeling better, at last.
