Clearing the debris

Living at the head of a very long sea loch that opens into the Clyde Estuary means that twice a day the foreshore becomes the last resting place of all sorts of detritus blown or discarded into the water. This makes it obvious just what an unsightly, environmental hazard non-biodegradable materials are.

There is no one currently employed to clear the rubbish, but the council has commissioned a nearby company to remove the debris. For a short time at least the foreshore will look clean and tidy again.
