Al fresco
We only rang five bells this morning and there were not many in the congregation but we still meet up afterwards for a meal. Marisa had cooked tandoori chicken and curried side dishes. She is of Pakistani origin so it was all very authentic. For dessert we had strawberries, fruit salad and 'bras de Venus', a sort of Swiss roll with patissier custard in the middle. Her house in the old village is tiny so we were forced to eat outside. That was no inconvenience as there was either sunshine or shade according to choice and we were well protected from the breeze.
