Catching the light. Pieris.

I’m feeling quite tired this afternoon!
After a trip up to Lancashire for a couple of days and then this morning out after breakfast to go to a lovely friend’s church near Tamworth where she was being baptised.
We have known Carrie a long time and met all her family on occasions like her son’s wedding, her daughter’s baptism, and her grandson’s Christeningl
She was being baptised as an Adult by full immersion, along with three other people.
The last big occasion was her second marriage a couple of years ago, to a widower,
It was such a special occasion today.
Always a privilege to feel co-opted into another family.
I keep dozing off now post lunch and I’ll finish here, and go and doze off in the summerhouse!
