Down (Lack Of) Memory Lane

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny & The Mini Princesses,

The Prince and I went to Whistle Binkies tonight to meet Kitty Cat, Marah and Dee as 2 of Dee’s friends were playing in a band there.

The band had an early slot at 7 pm so it was pretty quiet for the first set and Marsh was horrified that we were going to Whistle Binkies when it was still light outside. Whistle Binkies is a late bar which we have historically stumbled into after normal pub closing time. A bit like Fingers but with bands instead of a dude playing piano and without the sticky floor. I haven’t been there in years but It was fairly telling that I honestly didn’t recognise the inside of the bar when we arrives. I suspect younger me was perhaps not always compos mentis on previous visits!

The band was good. It finished about 9 (by which time the place was rammed) and I was home by 10:30 pm. Probably about the same time that younger me was heading out!
