Wind

Back in Toronto now, and an afternoon walk down to the waterfront. Lots more activity evident now that the schools have finished for the summer. Canoes, kayaks, sailing dinghies and the tall ship in the picture, which was just coming back to the dock and pulling down the sails.

It had an engine to help it, but some of the students out in the tiny dinghies were really struggling against the wind andsome even had to be rescued and towed back to the dock.

As you can see from the picture, the air was quite polluted so visibility was not great in the horizontal plane, but when looking up the sun was shining brightly. There's a spiritual parallel to that, but I'll leave you to work it out.
