In the City
No prizes for guessing where we are this evening!
(Looking down the Thames, towards Tower Bridge, on the left is the old Billingsgate market, and on the right, moored in the river is HMS Belfast.)
We came up to London this afternoon, and are staying near Tower Hill. We had a wander around the Tower area before we needed to get ready for a formal dinner organised by our Livery Company, at Stationers' Hall near St Paul's Cathedral. See extra of the Hall, all ready and waiting for 204 Liverymen of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and guests to sit down for dinner. We had a wonderfully convivial evening.
