In the woods

It was a dry, fine day out but the wind was brisk and chilly and we're still wearing the winter rain gear. Keeping in sheltered areas, I decided to do some black and white photography walking through the woods  which are criss-crossed by the River Ems. There is flooding in places, completely covering the normal walking path, but creating some good reflections. The trees are also in full spring bud but not yet full of leaves so good light filters through.

- this little bridge over the River Ems leads out of the woods and nature reserve into the village.
