Aged To Perfection

1964 was indeed a vintage year as it produced Mr M! He received an apron from friends, which was very apt - the phrase ‘aged to perfection’ is a great description!
His main birthday celebrations were last week, when all the children came home. But we both took the day off today and drove to Chepstow to meet R. We went out for coffee and cake first and then had a lovely walk through woods, overlooking the river. The views were beautiful and there were some bluebells out in the woods, which was lovely. We had a leisurely lunch at the Boat Inn on the waterfront. Great food!
In the evening we had calls from the boys and two friends called round with presents and stayed for a cuppa.
