Probably The Best Birthday Cake Ever

We had an early birthday celebration today for Mr M, since all the children were at home.
R made a fantastic salted caramel chocolate cake with three layers of chocolate sponge, caramel cream and chocolate ganache, finished with Lindt dark salted caramel chocolate pieces and a salted caramel sauce to pour over.
It was amazing!!
We had a great day with church, a big family lunch with roast lamb, presents, cake and games. Lovely to all be together.
A and D went back to London this afternoon. It’s been so lovely having them here. The others are still here for another day :)
