Weald Country Park Brentwood

Went on a Monday run with B. We took the Brentwood parkrun route, hoping for bluebells and we were not disappointed. B described it as 'glorious'. Glorious indeed. In this shot she captured the sunlight as it shone between the leaves on a carpet of bluebells. A real moment of joy in a day of heavy rain, hail and very strong winds. 

We enjoyed a beautiful country drive back via Hanningfield and after an unsuccessful attempt at getting a sandwich at the new Tin Roof Cafe, we stopped at Sofie's for a lunch and chat.
