Off to the Opera!

Not usually my cup of tea, but my friend Noreen thought I would enjoy it as the performance also included dance....and she was right. It was as entertaining as she had promised...the music, the singing, the dancing...and the venue itself..all fabulous...What happy campers we were... (extra) 

It was a great day out in the city..I don't venture into Toronto very often these days, and I really should. The GO train station is minutes away from me - with great Senior rates - and it goes right into the heart of Toronto with easy connections to  the subway system with some of the city's most popular attractions almost next door ...Today's big event was a major league baseball game - and the train was packed with excited people of all ages clad in blue Toronto Blue Jays shirts and baseball caps.. 

After the noise of that crowd, the city itself seemed quite sedate and peaceful! We even had our lunch at an outdoor table in the sun! The sun.. Imagine that! In the sun...
