When I was in Keswick two weeks ago I admired all the tulips in Hope Park. They were in bud then and I decided to return for some photos when they’d opened. A showery day with a yellow wind warning perhaps wasn’t the best.

I was in Keswick early enough to find parking and first walked to see the tulips, then on to the jetties and back via Crow Park.

I’ve put one of the tulip shots (not a close up) in the extra with some views from the lake shore but decided to stay with the cute animal theme for a third day.

I enjoyed a dry 1¼ hour walk and as soon as I reached the car it started hailstoning*.

* Not sure it’s a word but I couldn’t think of an alternative.
