Waterloo

In homage to 50 years since Waterloo won Eurovision , I had to celebrate in Amsterdam.
Not the real reason, we loved the Dam last year and knew my son’s girlfriend was heading out for her third year of Law so intended to visit. Brought daughter this time and after an early 4am start ( champagne headache) we were eating breakfast at Rokin by 10am.

Waterooplein flea market - bought a cool leather jacket and a bunker Dutch Olympic Team bright orange pullalong bag ( 10 euros) Couldn’t resist my favourite colour and look forward to intriguing folk at the airport when they will wonder what was my Olympic discipline :))))
Hopped the ferry over to the A’Dam tower as the must do thing is the swing. Daughter had stared to feel queasy anyhoo so maybe not the best choice of activities combined with the VR rollercoaster and we soon had to hurry to the hotel to get a nap.
She rallied and we headed out to meet M for pizzas at Pizza Beppe near Rijksmuseum.
Back early 26,000 steps bagged.
