Spring Treat
My first ever harvest of asparagus! Cut late morning and eaten for lunch with a soft boiled egg and bread.
The asparagus came from the allotment plot I took on last May, so it feels a real treat to be eating it.
Grateful:
- For a little bit of a lie in after I’d fed Merlin first thing.
- To harvest asparagus from allotment and eat it for lunch.
- To plant out the first of this year’s leek seedlings. Hoping they survive!
