Raleigh rally

By a shear stroke of luck, I happened across this lot on the High Street.  It's the annual Milton Keynes Chopper (and Shopper and other iconic Raleigh models from the 1970s) bicycle ride.  There must have been well over 100 bikes on display.

It involves a lot of cleaning and polishing and stopping at pubs enroute to admire, swap stories and let people like me take photographs.  

I'm told that an original Mk1 Chopper which will now change hands for thousands of pounds. I imagine there might be a few blippers of a certain age wishing they'd kept theirs.
