Big, Blousy ..........and WET!

It is just about time for Bags to move ............ things are falling apart.
Yesterday their coat rack fell off the wall and the front door lock fell off (I have been telling her for ages to get her hubby to replace a couple of screws).

So it was time for me to fix things .......... again.

Needless to say B&Q don't actually sells the screws required and there was no way I was spending £30+ for a new lock - so it was a trek across town to an independent tool supplier who was able to find two screws the right size but too long after a rummage about in a box of gash bits and pieces.

A couple of minutes with a hacksaw and the screws were adapted and inserted.
Then it was having to make up some rather large dowels, insert them into the rather large holes in the plaster wall left when the coat rack came down and fill the damaged area. Son-in-law can screw it back up tonight when the filler has dried.

While we has a cup of tea Squirrel got down and dirty with a nectarine . She may only have one tooth but she certainly makes good use of it.

It is a shame it has been so wet today (again) because I really need to get into the front garden and cut back the clematis that is trying to swamp the foxgloves.
