New Places

We both did work in the morning - Bb did desk work and worked in the sofa room study upstairs and I did housework downstairs - our patio room, wee library area and entranceway. Quite nice to do it with time and podcasts.

Then a late lunch/early dinner in Poppy’s 80, an authentic Italian place we found recently, which has an open kitchen all day up near Bonanova. We were eating out of the normal hours, so it was quiet, but very nice food and service. See extra for their entranceway and creative use of cassettes.

Spontaneous decision then to go to the cinema, not far from the restaurant, to see The Holdovers. We enjoyed it. Lovely story, great acting and brought a tear to our eye. Very good news that this cinema has just started showing version original films and it’s just a 20 mins walk away from home.
