A day at the races

But there weren’t any horses!! 

It was Uttoxeter Quilt Show this weekend and I’d booked tickets to attend and for a workshop in Tilly’s Slow Stitch Cafe. The last quilt show I attended was in 2019, at the NEC in Birmingham. This show was much smaller and quite quirky. I enjoyed the slow stitching, a first for me. I’ve got lots of materials that can be used. 

I was so tired this morning and a bit hesitant about going to the racetrack, but the interesting environment and the pleasant company of strangers was enough to keep me stimulated and bouncing all day.
