One Street at Sale

I had to go to Sale this afternoon on an errand. It was a miserable dreich day. This shot was taken looking down onto the Bridgewater canal from the bridge on Northenden Road. The Bridgewater is a contour canal. This must be one of the longest straight sections on the canal.
