Barefoot on the Beach

What a wonderful walk this morning! 


The Extras. What the heck? We were out after dark, and look at what was happening to all the lights! It’s a good thing I wasn’t driving—all I wanted to do was sit in the intersection and watch the pretty clotheslines streaming across the road. And the moon’s in there too. First I had to confirm that he was seeing it too, and then I had to see if the camera saw it as well. We finally ran the windshield wipers and it’s all gone now. I swear all I had was a piece of chocolate pie. And we saw a great concert: A Tribute to Shirley Horn, by pianist Tammy Hall and her trio. Familiar ballads and wonderful musicians. And fireworks all the way home!
