Little jaunt.
As the weather forecast was good we decided to have a little trip out.
Our destination was the City of Lincoln although it is doable in a day we decided to book a hotel for the night.
As the City is very compact it is easy to explore, we park up and head out, our first stop some refreshments so we drop into the Horse and Groom. Fortified we tackle the famous Steep Hill where we discover an array of interesting independent shops and some fine buildings, following the cobbled street we arrive at the castle, today was not a dog friendly day so the boys and I found a seat while Mr PC had a look around. After taking in the Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace we head back down Steep Hill and walk along the Brayford Waterfront and head to our hotel, after checking in we had a bit of a relax, I had a snooze.
Soon it was time to think about eating, we had a walk around and ended up with fish and chips that we took back to our room and opened a bottle of wine.
Boys are asleep now and we won’t be far behind.
My main is a sculpture that spans the River Witham and is called empowerment.
