Blackthorn

Rob set off for an Irish Sea survey this morning, leaving Bonnie and me to get on with the baking. We were finished surprisingly early and had a reasonable walk, not raining and quite mild.
Things are gradually getting going, the hedges are opening and the birds were singing.
This evening I had a fun session doing my Poll Clerk training! They have made things more complicated this year, with the new photo ID requirements and some forms to complete as well.
Hopefully it won’t be too busy to start with while we are getting used to it!
