One of the things I love about big family get togethers is seeing the little traits and quirks that run through us all. Whether its Freya being the double of me and my mum, my brother, Robin, and his three mini-me's, my uncle who Robin is slowly growing into and things I'd long forgotten that illustrate the connection between Robin and I.

We had a lovely first night at Alasdair's following a great journey down, the sun actually shone and Loch Fyne was glorious. I 'waved' at blippers passing Inverary, Furnace and Ardrishaig and enjoyed the view of Arran from the wee road down the east coast of Kintyre.

In between arrival and dinner Freya and I had a wee walk on the shore, she had a goon my old camera and I enjoyed comparing shots with her. The limitations of the old camera were painfully obvious as she struggled to get a shot in focus but the camera lived up o expectation and performed well for me.

Forecast isn't good for tomorrow, maybe a day for indoors.
