Aim High

There are extraordinary things in life that are well worth our efforts, and often seem just out of reach. I'm aiming for the roses, but too often stumble upon a field of daisies, and postpone the journey to stop & wonder at the entertaining little dancing flowers before me.

Sometimes it's because the goal was just one beautiful thing, that took more effort to achieve, while the reality right in front of me consisted of lots of fun things that were a source of joy, but truly did not measure up to the velvety reward to be had if I could keep my focus and discipline.

I'm hoping to do just that. Keep my focus, finish the race and reach the goal.
