Life's Treasure

You know how sometimes new friends are like friends you've known for a really long time. C is one of those friends. Someone who thinks about the things I think about and laughs at the things I laugh at, she's a whole lot of fun!

What a blessing to have her come to Coos Bay this weekend to help my husband and I make some more progress on Mother Comfort's house (and to bring Mr. C some birthday lemon bars! He's feeling very spoiled about now!). The fellowship was terrific, and I am extremely grateful to have cleared the cupboards and made way for the cabinets to be repaired and remade by another dear friend...Mr. Cabinet Maker! (and a big thank you to the cabinet maker's son, for his hard work out there in the sunshine!)
