I got a new rug recently.
From a Trade Aid shop.
Sadly this great business is closing all its retail outlets.
They have been around for decades and support food and craft producers around the world creating fairness in trade.
Lots of ethnic products from third world countries.
I love supporting these people, and have done since I was a Uni student back in the early 80's  and furnished my first student flat with block printed fabrics from India and woven baskets, etc. I wore jewellery made in the tiniest villages and have had all sorts of wall hangings and cushions over the  years.

So, the purchase of this floor rug is quite special.
And Lottie loves it!
