Kōtuku- White Heron

A large bird, only a small New Zealand population of less than 200. Their breeding ground is on the West Coast of the South Island.
We have two single birds living around this side of Christchurch, and it’s always lovely to see them.

Lottie and I were the only ones around this morning to watch this one .
