Longlands Squirrel

Horribly wet and windy. We got away to Fishers Green for an hour or so after lunch. I saw distant deer and geese from the Longlands Hide and watched as a blackbird got blown off the shiny top of a feed dispenser.

I was about to leave when I spotted this squirrel. It sat on the post for ages. I think it was a bit concerned about how it would manage getting down. When it did descend, it did so very gingerly. I'm not very keen on grey squirrels but I must admit that I did slightly warm to this one.
